One to cherish.

A rare treat! These early season flowers are not something you see every day. The flared cups of the sunny yellow blooms will burst out amongst attractive fine, grass like foliage for up to four weeks. They really are easy to fall in love with.
Hoop Petticoat 'Golden Dragon' is a great daffodil for Australian conditions. They are also great value for money, as established bulbs can produce ten or more flowers in a growing season.
Hoop Petticoat Daffodil 'Golden Dragon' works best tightly grouped fairly closely together. You can grow them in pots, along the edge of a garden bed or in a rockery and they are excellent under deciduous trees. The narrow foliage long outlives the flowers and it is quite attractive in its own right.
Plant Hoop Petticoat 'Golden Dragon' three times as deep as the bulb is high, in a sunny, well drained spot. Bulbs can be left in the ground for many years without having to lift them (this is known as naturalising). Keep moist during active growth and relatively dry in summer dormancy. Basically you can treat them as you would any daffodil - easy.
IN POTS:
This is our recommendation for the best display, keeping in mind bulbs look best when planted nice and close together. Their foliage is quite narrow.
14cm/6" = 10 bulbs
20cm/8" = 20 bulbs
25cm/10" = 30 bulbs
