Luscious pink petals with a deeper purple edge. A standout in arrangements.

Renaissance Ranunculus are a triumph of meticulous genetic selection in a constant search for high quality, long lasting, consistently double flowers in an incredible range of colours.

Up to ten of these sensational flowers can open from a single corm, and they are double from the start to the finish - many Ranunculus revert to single, but these remain full from start to finish.

The Biancheri family of San Remo, Italy began growing Anemones and Ranunculus in the 1800's and have not stopped. In what is still a family business, they have remained pioneers in the development and improvement of these fabulous plants. By combining passion, tradition and cutting edge research they have gone on to create ever more beautiful and lasting flowers with worldwide acclaim. For both the Nursery and Cut Flower Industry, these are the best you can get and we are privileged to offer them here in Australia.

Ranunculus are one of the most rewarding spring bulbs to grow and their bountiful display is absolute value for money. These Renaissance selections are the top of the range.

Plant the 'Octopus-like' Ranunculus tubers in autumn, feed well and by the time spring rolls around you will be taken aback with the beauty of these blooms. Ranunculus take around 10-12 weeks from planting to bloom, they can be faster in warmer weather. You can use this timing to your advantage and have them flower earlier or later in the season.

Ideally plant Ranunculus into a humus rich, well drained soil. Drainage is important for all spring flowering bulbs, as if left to sit in water it can leave them to rot. Water to establish and keep moist during active growth. They grow best in a full sun to light shade position. For best results they should be fertilised well. Regular picking of the flowers can result in even more as it stops the plant producing seed.
