From each Picasso Ranunculus tuber you can pick numerous blooms that last a week or more in a vase.
Plant the Octopus like Ranunculus tubers in autumn, feed well and by the time spring rolls around you will be taken aback with the beauty of these blooms. Ranunculus take around 10-12 weeks from planting to bloom, they will be faster in warmer weather.
Plant Ranunculus into a humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish and keep moist during active growth. They grow best in a full sun to light shade position. For best results they should be fertilised well - they are small and have the potential to produce plenty of blooms with the right nutrition and routine watering. Regular picking of the flowers can result in even more as it stops the plant producing unwanted seed.
